War Research Society

Founded several years ago by Serving and Retired Police Officers, Ex Service personnel and friends, the war Research Society has taken thousands of Pilgrims, Veterans, Widows and children to visit the Battlefield, Memorials and last resting places of the fallen, and incorporated this with interesting guided historical tours of the areas of the First and Second World War in Northern France, Belgium, and Italy. Our Second World War Tours visit, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Poland and Italy. We cover the earlier campaigns in Europe with Agincourt/Crecy and the Battle of Waterloo.

And now for the third year we are organising our Annual tour to South Africa and The Boer and Zulu War Battle Sites.

Meticulous care goes into the planning of these tours. We travel P &Q Stena Ferries using executive coaches with reclining seats, toilets, catering facilities and video system, hired through Birmingham International Coaches with regular drivers. Scheduled Airlines are used for our South African, Gallipoli, and Singapore and Bridge on the river Kwai tours.

The routes are carefully planned so that you see as much as possible: the hotels are all of excellent standard- family run with private bathrooms, toilet, telephone in all rooms, buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meals. Packed lunches are available on some of the days
